Segundo Pizaña Amora of Chula Vista, California passed away, on June 7, 2015 at the age of 93. Segundo was born in Candijay, Bohol, Philippines on June 1, 1922 to Pedro Amora Sr. and Ines Pizaña, he was the oldest among 7 children & 3 stepbrothers.
Segundo married Antonina Aguro on June 2, 1956 at the Post Chapel of Nichols Air Base of the Philippines. To this union they had 6 children, Rodolfo, Marian, Diana, Raul, Teofanes and Paul. Graduated at Cosmopolitan College as a Radio Technician. He worked in Civil Services, for the Philippine Air Force, from February 28, 1945 to October 15, 1945. Then continued working for the Philippine Air Force from May 14, 1946 and retired on September 26, 1975 as a Second Lieutenant. He latter continued working for 15 years at Kyocera, San Diego California, where he retired and then worked 12 years as an Apartment Manager.
Preceded in death by his wife Antonina Aguro in 2008, he is survived by his 6 children; stepdaughter, Carolina Latosa; sister, Dionesia Olaco; step-brothers, Gerardo and Teodoro Amora; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
