With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Victor Manuel Estrada on June 21, 2025, at the age of 65.
Victor was born on May 6, 1960, in Tijuana, Mexico, and later made a lasting home in the United States. He spent over 39 years as a dedicated painter for the school district, taking great pride in his work and ensuring that every school he touched looked its best for the students who walked its halls.
More than his work, Victor will be remembered for the love he gave so freely to those around him. He was a devoted husband, a proud and caring father, a loving grandfather, beloved brother and an amazing friend. His laughter, strength, and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.
Victor had a true passion for life’s joys, big and small. He was a huge sports fan who loved cheering on his favorite teams—the San Diego Chargers and the Padres. He also had a deep love for collecting, especially Hot Wheels, superhero memorabilia (especially anything Batman), and just about anything that sparked his interest. If it brought happiness, Victor found a way to appreciate and treasure it. He also enjoyed oldies music, and sharing meals and stories with family and friends.
Above all, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren, Tyler and Valentina, who brought endless joy to his life.
Victor is survived by his wife, Diana Kennedy-Estrada; his children, Vanessa Estrada, Valerie Antrim, and Richard Estrada; and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler and Valentina.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Saturday July 26,2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, stories, and the love that Victor brought into all of our lives.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
