Born July 9, 1928 in Portland OR, passed away January 17th at age 88. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Matthew J. Kraus and their 5 children. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and her sister Dorothy. She was very active until recently, enjoying pinochle, Bible Study and her book club and previously served many years as President of The Ladies Guild at her church. She was also a volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Society for 20 years. Her strong religious faith kept her eternally optimistic, always offering words of encouragement. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
