Ardith Virginia Matthews of Rio Linda, California, passed away on December 25, 2021 at the age of 90. Ardith was born August 11, 1931 to Tony and Nellie Taxara. She loved to work in her yard, spend time with family, and spoil her dog Molly.
Ardith is preceded in death by her parents, sister Alice, husband Clayton, step-daughter Merilee, granddaughter Denise, and son Larry. She is survived by her daughter Toni Boettcher (Mike), step-sons Michael (Vicki) and Matt (Karen) Matthews, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren along with her brother Richard Taxara (Judy), sister Carol Cooper, and several nieces and nephews. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 12:00pm at Mike and Toni’s house 2121 Quail Ranch Ct Elverta, CA 95626.
