Dale Alfred Dankbar

Dale passed away peacefully with most of his family by his side on October 22, 2017. He was born in Garner, Iowa and moved to California in 1956 after serving in the Air Force for 4 years. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jane, 4 children Ed Dankbar, Julie Dankbar Inclan, Jerry Dankbar (Kelly) and John Dankbar (Ashley) five grandchildren, Matt Dankbar, Brandon Inclan, Michael Dankbar (Alexa), Connor and Nathan Dankbar as well as his sister Lois (Dankbar) Johnson, his brother, Eugene Dankbar, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his 2 pups, Corky and Cami along with several grandogs and a grand cat. Dale moved to Roseville in 1969. He worked for Sacramento County for 35 years and then continued to work as a consultant for various companies until 2008. He was a member of the BPOE (Elks) for over 40 years. He enjoyed RV'ing, wine making/grape growing, his annual pumpkin farm fishing, golf, house painting,ironing (really!) and especially farming, in general (loved his beloved tractor with his preferred attire of boots, shorts and a hat). He loved his family and life most of all.
