Danny passed away the morning of March 2, 2016 at age 66 at Sutter Roseville Medical Center in Roseville, California
.
Danny served in the U.S. Army in Field Artillery 15E as a Pershing Missile Crewmember during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed gardening, car shows, and listening to the oldies.
He is survived by his son Daniel Garcia Jr., his five daughters Corina Scoggins, Tonya Holmes, Gloria Garcia, Alanna Garcia, and Terra Arslanian, his three grandsons and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Gloria Garcia; wife, Charlotte Garcia; and brother, Manuel Garcia.
A Celebration of Danny’s life will be held at Reichert’s Funeral Chapel on March 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. 7320 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610. His burial will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery on March 16, 2016 at 11:00 am32053 West McCabe Rd., Santa Nella Village, CA 95322.
