I was introduced to Dr.Kempton in1975 by my dear friend Susan Johnson, all 3 of my daughters saw him...he helped with my youngest daughter in 1979 she was born...she weighed in at 8 lbs 13 1/2 ounces .she would vomit up everything, by the time she was 6 months old she only weighed 9 lbs...he was so thoughtful and kind and reassuring...he worked so hard to identify her food allergy ...we finally found a formula to feed her and she thrived ..he even helped with the cost of the formula. Along with Grandparents she gained weight and outgrew her food allergy....he was a wonderful Doctor and will be sorely missed

I remember taking my son Kitren and my Daughter Amanda both to see Doctor Kempton. He was the kindest most gentle man I've ever had the pleasure of meeting let  alone have him be the kids pediatrician. He had a special way with children. He always told them exactly what he was going to do to them, he never lied to them, if it was going to hurt, he would tell them it was going to hurt. That's what I love about Dr. Kempton

Dr. Kempton was my doctor and my childrens doctor he is the best doctor in the whole world. You are truly missed.

Hello my name is Rebecca also known as Becky, I was one Dr Kempton patients when I was child, I just was thinking about Dr Kempton and happened to come a cross him, I thought I would pay my respects, he was great Dr and he had been apart of my life since I was young, I just wanted to say thank you for all the Dr Kempton has done, I will always have him in my memory God bless you and your family.

Dr Kempton was a awesome doctor, he was my doctor when I was a child (im 26) he would always tell my grandma to let me express myself if I wanted to wear mixed matched clothes. Lol, I would always hide from him until he came in the room and I would scare him and he'd pretend to be scared. Good memories. He was the BEST doctor,& I JUST found out about his passing today, my prayers are with the kempton family.

I just learned of this sad news.I too was a patient of Dr.Kemptons along with a few of my children.Dr Kempton was one of the BEST doctors.I liked that he took the time with each of his patients. I never felt rushed out of a visit.He always took the time to answer questions.To the Kempton Family we all are very sorry to hear of your loss.

Dr. Kempton took great care of 2 generations of my family; 3 children and my 2 grandchildren.  He was a great man and loved ALL his kids.

What a wonderful doctor he was. .He was my children's doctor from the time they were very small until they    were adults. .. my daughter insisted.                           on seeing Dr. Kempton even after she turned 18 and I felt she was to grown to see a children's doctor. . But she was adamant about going to Dr. Kempton... She was that confident and comfortable with him.And I appreciate the fact that he continued being her doctor... To his family and loved ones.. So sorry for your loss. .. Just know that he was loved by many children and parents alike who have very fond memories of him. .R.I.P. Dr. KEMPTON

I was so lucky to have Dr. Kempton as a doctor from the time I was a baby till even when I was in college.  He was caring and wise.  When you visited him, he made you feel important.  He always had our pictures on the wall, making us feel more like family, then a patient. He was a personal doctor, which is rare nowadays.  I will always remember the lollipops he would give us after our visit.  He will be dearly missed by me and children of all ages, from 0-99.

I was sadden today to read the news of his passing, Dr. Kempton was the BEST children's doctor there was. He had such a gentle way about him. He took excellent care of my son Paul. Thank you. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. May your many memories help comfort you all.

As parents we were very fortunate to had Dr. Kempton be our Dr.  We would visit often and every time he would walk into our room with his big smile and quote a nursery rhyme with our sons name in it.  To this day our son (34) has fond memories of his kind, gentle, and understanding Dr. Kempton.
