Death leaves a heartache no one can heal...love leaves a memory that no one can steal. Passed away Saturday, Dec 4, 2010 in Roseville, CA. Born Oct. 7, 1928 in Adrian, MI. He married his beloved wife, Barbara, in 1947 and they were married 50 years until her passing in 1998. He came to Sacramento County in 1978. Jim was a carpet installer and then worked for Ace Hardware in Citrus Heights until his retirement in 2001. He loved to fish, travel, and spend time with his family. He is survived by his six children, Nancy, Dennis, Tom, Bob (his wife Susan), Becky (her husband Dave), and Jina, 18 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Virginia, Gene, and Carolyn. He was proceeded in death by his siblings, Alice and Marguerite. Viewing will be held at Reichert's Funeral Services 7320 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA Friday, Dec. 10 from 12-1 pm. Services will be held at 1 pm. Grave site service following. Family and friends invited to reception at Becky Tilley's house thereafter.
