Kathleen Jeanne Rogers

Kathy was born on December 5, 1950, to Donald Wayne and Ramona Harper in Cleveland, Ohio. Due to a birth defect Kathy was permanently disabled and had many challenges to face in life, but these never slowed her down.

In 1978, Kathy met William (Bill) Rogers in Roseville, California in her parents’ home. This meeting led to a marriage of over 40 years.

For many years Kathy was active in her church in Citrus Heights. She was always picking up, helping with cleaning, and she enjoyed meeting new people. She absolutely adored and loved any pet she ever had, as well as anyone she met. Her favorite TV shows were Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons. She liked walking and listening to the Bible as she couldn’t read. The most wonderful truth about Kathy’s passing is that she now has a new body in heaven with no disabilities.

Kathy was predeceased in death by her father Donald, mother Ramona, and brother Harold. She is survived by her sister Ramona Reyes and brother Jeff Harper.

A private graveside service for family and close friends will be held at Sylvan Cemetery 7401 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610 at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ Fellowship Church, PO Box 1345, Citrus Heights, CA 95611 which was a church she loved for over 30 years. Kathy will be missed by all who loved her.
