Kathryn (Kathy) Scott passed away peacefully on March 2, 2022. She passed at home in her sleep.
She was born September 4, 1939 in Taft, California.
She is survived by her 5 children, David Wayne McComic of Weed, California , Coleene Rae Dehnert of San Diego, California, Stephen Michael McComic of Orangevale, California, Denise Leigh Chico of Fair Play, California and Laura Elaine Aldred of Kansas City, Missouri. Eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive Kathy.
Preceded in death by her husband Paul Leroy Scott, parents Robert (Bob) and Lorena (Kay) Kloppenburg and her brother Leslie.
She has two surviving siblings, Candace Kloppenburg of Fair Oaks, California and Robert Dale Kloppenburg of Fresno, California.
She moved to Sacramento when she was a young girl. She graduated from C.K. McClatchy High School. Kathy retired from the County of Sacramento DHS. She was previously a member of the VFW, Post 67 where she held several positions such as secretary and president of the Women’s Auxiliary. She had a lifetime love for knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, sewing, and doll making, reading and cheering on the Sacramento Kings.
We will all miss her dearly.
