David Chuck Pui Yu

In the early hours of Friday, April 10th, David C.P. Yu, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away at the age of 74. David was born on March 14, 1946, in Guangdong, China. He immigrated to the United States in 1971 and on December 14, 1973, he married May Y. Lee. They raised three daughters in Saratoga and he dedicated 35 years to the USPS. David was happiest when he was enjoying his favorite pastimes, eating excellent Chinese food, drinking Starbucks coffee while catching up on daily world news, listening to music, watching and playing sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He was known for his commitment to keeping his family safe and secure, and his always generous heart, happily treating anyone to a meal any opportunity he had. He is survived by his wife, May; three children, Olivia, Doris and Michelle; brother, Chuck Yee, and many other loved ones. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 1pm.
