Michael dedicated much of his professional career to the real estate industry. As self-proclaimed “Top Gun” at Century 21 Junipero Serra Daly City, later known as Appex 21 to his later years at Cornish & Carey/Coldwell Banker San Francisco Lakeside, he was a respected agent fulfilling the American Dream for countless families in the Visitation Valley and Little Hollywood neighbors of San Francisco.
Beyond his professional life, Michael was a worldly gentleman defined by his passions. He was an avid outdoorsman who found peace and patience while fishing and maintained a sense of balance and grace through Tai Chi. He made lifelong friendships through teaching the benefits of Tai Chi during these weekly Saturday classes at the Daly City Gellert Park Clubhouse.
He was equally at home as a teacher on the ballroom dance floor, spending time at the Metronome Dance in Potrero Hill, where he was remembered for his elegance and rhythm. One of his greatest joys in life was teaching and rehearsing with engaged couples their first dance.
A gifted musician, Michael found joy in playing the violin, guitar, drums, and saxophone, filling his life—and the lives of those around him—with music.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Lisa, and his two sons, Eugene and Calvin.
In keeping with Michael’s free spirit, the family ask friends and all to raise a glass to his memory.
