She was born in the Champion Community between Loraine and Roscoe on December 19, 1929 to the late Margarito and Juanita Sanchez DeLoera.
To best describe Aurora one can look in the Bible to Proverbs 31, she was a woman of strong faith, who loved to tend to her home and teach her children to grow in strength and faith. While she did work some jobs such as preparing meals for the senior citizen center, cleaning homes or as a home health aide the job she loved the most was being a mother. She was a great farm wife, helping to tend to the crop and the animals. When picking cotton, the sack was only made heavier when a small, tired toddler was allowed to ride along. She was not afraid to get her hands dirty fixing a machine if needed. A hard worker, but she was an even better mother. A “Super Mom” is the best way to describe her as she would do anything for her children whether it be driving them to various functions, making them clothing, encouraging them when they were down, or cooking their favorite meal. She was also an awesome Christian; a lifelong member of Saint Joseph’s Mission in Loraine, holding tight to her Catholic faith, living it, and leading by her strong values. Her spare time consisted of nothing more than family, cooking for them, teaching them in both English and Spanish, praying for them and providing them whatever they may need. She was also the type of woman who made sure that anybody who entered her home was well fed and cared after, she was truly a nurturer by heart. She was a kind loving soul who loved and was loved by many and her memory will be cherished for years.
Aurora is survived by her sons Jesse Muñoz of Colorado City, Tommy Muñoz and life partner Carlos Frederick of San Antonio, and Jaime Muñoz of Loraine, and by her daughters Lydia Muñoz of Odessa, Irene Muñoz of Loraine, Gloria Limones of Loraine, and Sara Barrera and husband Jesse of Loraine and by a daughter-in-law Cecilia Muñoz of Loraine. Also surviving are her grandchildren; J.G., Jennifer, Jeremiah, Anthony, Nadia, Oscar, Fernando, Adrianna, Jesse, Fabian, Elias, Sonya, Claudia, Nicholas, and Natalie, 26 great-grandchildren, her brother Thomas DeLoera of Loraine, and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband J.M. Muñoz, by sons Francisco Muñoz and John Muñoz, by a granddaughter Cindy Muñoz, a daughter-in-law Anita Muñoz, and by six sisters and seven brothers.

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
