She Touched So Many Lives with Her Incredible Spirit, Love for God with Her Calvary Baptist Church Family, and Everywhere She Went. She Had Many Talents that She So Much Loved to Share. From Baking Birthday and Wedding Cakes to Playing the Organ at Calvary for Decades Across from Sue McKinney. This is the Same Church Her Mom, Vera Schafer Worked the Nursery for Decades and Dad, Cecil Schafer, was a Decades Long Deacon as Well. She Loved Her Church and Her Home Town Folks. I Doubt Her Cake Baking Will Ever Be Forgotten in the Community. She Ended Up Making Wedding Cakes for the Grand Kids of the Kids She Had Made Wedding Cakes For and She Loved Seeing the Faces Light Up When the Younger Kids Came for Their Birthday Cakes.
After an Incredible Fight, She Made it Clear that She was Ready to Go Home to Heaven and Rejoice with God and All Others That We Have Lost Over Time. Fur Kids Too. Sassy and Then Asta Were a Huge Part of Her Joy Later On In Life. She Loved Kids, Grand Kids and all Her Grand Pups as Well. Waaay too Many to List There.
She is survived by Debra Day (Daughter), Otis Ruffin (Son), Eric Day (Grandson) & Dustin Scott (Grandson). Her Parents, Cecil and Vera Schafer, Elaine Scott (Daughter) and Brian Day (Grandson) Passed Before Her. What a Time They are Having Right Now. Son-In-Law, Marlon Scott is Still with Us, as is Robert Day. Other Son-In-Law, Rick Breitweiser has Passed.

What a Woman. She was More Worried About Everyone Else, Including Her Family and Nurses, Right to Her Last Breath. God Has another Great One. Zero Doubt About That.
