She was born in Houston, Texas to James and Mary Hubbard Wooddell on November 22, 1953.
Brenda was a woman who was strong in her faith to God and who loved her family unconditionally. She had a beautiful personality and would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. Family was her main priority, and it showed in her everyday life. She was a great wife, mother, granny, sister, and daughter. Every chance she got she loved to be with her family, especially the little ones as they would bring a certain smile to her face like no other. In her spare time when she wasn’t at church or spending time with family, she enjoyed reading her Bible, sewing, and tending to her garden. She also enjoyed cooking, especially her Spanish dishes. She was never one to stir away from telling a good joke or who could say no to an animal as she was always bringing home strays. The family will cherish all the love shared over the years and will pass lessons learned for years to come.
