Bruce Earl Rich

Colorado City – Mr. Bruce Rich, age 53, of Westbrook, died Sunday morning in a local hospital. Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the First Baptist Church in Colorado City with Rev. Terry White and Dr. Jerry Shields officiating. Burial will follow in the Westbrook Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Rich was born July 10, 1956 in Colorado City to Cleburne and Metha Rich and had been a lifelong resident of Mitchell County. He married Katherine Parsons on July 18, 1975 in Westbrook. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Westbrook, a longtime member of the Westbrook ISD Board of Trustees and the Mitchell County Appraisal Board.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Rich of Westbrook; his parents, Cleburne and Metha Rich of Westbrook; two sons: Thadd Rich and Colton (Shorty) Rich, both of Westbrook; 2 daughters: Brynn Rich of Colorado City and Amanda (and husband, Justin) Ratliff of North Richland Hills; a brother, Daryl (and wife, Donna) Rich of Big Spring; 4 nieces, 1 nephew and 2 great nephews.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
