Clovis Ray Hale

As a former Loraine, Texas resident, where he grew up and graduated High School. He graduated McMurray University. He was the son of the late R. J. Hale and the late Hattie Mae Hale. He married his late wife Jean Kidd in 1963. Survivors: two sons, Joe Bill Hale (Janette), Dustin Ray Hale (Suzy), two grandchildren, Cody Dane and Hattie Marie, sister-in-law Barbara Long (Bill), a niece Ronda Brunton (Jim), a nephew Brandon Long ( Shannon).

As a career, he coached high school football at Lubbock High, Big Springs, and head coach at San Angelo High then assistant at No. Texas State, Iowa, Rice, SMU, Texas Tech and Texas.

A funeral service for Clovis will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 10 AM at the 1st Baptist Church of Loraine with Pastor Herb Roever officiating, burial will follow in the Lone Wolf Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, July 7th at the Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
