

He was born on April 9, 1930 in San Antonio , Texas to Benito and Simona Montalvo Arocha.
David was a simple man who enjoyed a simple life, which is why he moved from San Antonio to the Colorado City area. While here he found employment at Truck Town working the night shift as both dishwasher and kitchen hand. He was also employed by Foam Tex for numerous years. In his spare time he enjoyed planting trees and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Celia and his sons David Arocha Jr and Timothy Arocha both of Colorado City, as well as by his granddaughter Megan Arocha. Also surviving is his sister Liberty Arocha of Florisville as well as by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Santos Arocha Sr. and Benito Arocha II.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 19th at 10 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery
The family will receive friends at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home from 6-8 pm Thursday, August 18th with a Rosary to be held at 7pm at the funeral home.
