Delpha Sue Womack, 87, of Colorado City, Texas, passed away on December 29, 2025. Sue was born on June 12, 1938, in Iraan, Texas, to Delfo and Neta Hardee Clark. She moved to Westbrook, Texas, while in first grade, where she was raised and later graduated from
Westbrook High School in 1956.
Sue married her first husband, Adron Kidd, in 1960. He passed away after their first year of marriage. She later married Kent Lee Womack, and together they had two sons, Tracy Lee and
Richy Clark Womack.
Sue worked as a teller at City National for Bank for well over thirty years, a career that reflected her reliability and care for others. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, which brought her great joy. She also liked to enjoy an occasional game of bunco. Sue was a volunteer with the Mitchell County Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Garden Club.
Sue was a loving Mother, and Grandmother and you could always catch her at her Grandchildren’s sporting events. And in the evening every night, you could always find Sue at a local restaurant in Colorado City.
Sue is survived by her son Richy Womack and wife Jody of Colorado City; grandchildren Ramzi and Chandler Caddell of Fort Stockton; Huntyr and Dylan Fulton of Midland; Talyn and Kyler
Billingsley of Lubbock; and Kazdyn Womack of Colorado City. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Spade, Brazos, and Wytten Caddell, and Brock and Luxx Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kent Womack; her son, Tracy Womack; her parents, Delfo and Neta Clark; and her sister, Jean Clark Owens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Colorado City First Methodist Church Foundation or the Angelo State University Tracy Womack Memorial Scholarship
