Dominga Hernandez

She was born on January 26, 1936 in Monthalia, Texas to Amador and Antonia De La Paz Lambaren.

Dominga was a true family woman who loved her family with all her heart. She was an excellent wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed being with family every chance she got. She would often be seen outside with her husband enjoying all the beauty God created. In her spare time she enjoyed family gatherings, going to church, gardening, quilting, keeping her house spotless, and always making sure to rearrange everything as she cleaned. She also enjoyed going for a walk, spending time with her dog Blanco, and having a good slice of pizza. She will be missed dearly.

Dominga is survived by her sons Frank Hernandez and wife Lanette of Colorado City, Jesse Lambaren and wife Angelica of Loraine, Raul Hernandez Jr. and wife Micki of Loraine, Urbano Hernandez and wife MaryAnn of Colorado City, and Amador Hernandez of Lubbock, by daughters Minerva Macedo and husband Adam of Colorado City, and Antonia Russell and husband Nolan of San Angelo, as well as by 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Maria Lambaren of Snyder and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raul R. Hernandez Sr., a son Julian Hernandez, a daughter Olivia Hernandez, 2 brothers Francisco Lambaren and Catarino Lambaren, and by a sister Felicita Garcia

A Celebration of Dominga’s life will be held in the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 4th at 10 am with her grandson Alexander Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery with pallbearers being Avian Hernandez, Frankie Brets, Abram Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez, Eric Hernandez, Joey Macedo, Nicholas Macedo, Julian Macedo, Anthony Matos, and Andrew Matos.

The family will be present for a visitation on Wednesday, April 3rd from 5-7 pm in the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel.
