1927 - 2014
Loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed to the Lord on June 12, 2014. Ed passed away peacefully in Colorado City, Texas.
Ed was born in Plainview, Texas, to Clifford and Nadine (Harrison) Harmon on September 14, 1927. The Harmon Family moved to Laguna Beach, California in early 1930's. Ed spent his early life in Southern California attending Franklin High School in Highland Park before enlisting in the Navy during WW2. When the war ended, he came back home and asked the love of his life, Virginia "Ginny" Marie Williams to be his wife. On June 8, 1947, Ed and Ginny became husband and wife at a ceremony performed at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Ed and Ginny lived in Southern California raising 5 children before being transferred to Texas in 1975.
Ed was a shy and humble man who never met a stranger. He and Ginny had "The Good Old Days" antique store downtown Colorado City. They enjoyed meeting the residents and out of town people each and every day. Ed was a member of the Dorn Methodist Church. He loved the fellowship and the Spirit filled messages each and every week.
Ed will be missed by many. Our lives were touched and complete knowing him.
