He was born in Sweetwater on July 30, 1997 to Juan and Maria Cruz Beltran.
Israel was a fun loving young man with a hard work ethic, a love for his God and a passion for family. He was a graduate of Colorado I.S. D. Class of ’15 where he played football and enjoyed powerlifting. Israel had a great sense of humor and one of the softest hearts there was. He was the type of man who never met a stranger and rarely acted with anything but warmth to others as he believed that kindness was the best policy. In his spare time he enjoyed playing and fixing his guitars, gaming with his brothers, drawing, watching the Cowboys, OU, and the Long Horns, going to concerts, and watching Anime. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family, whether at home or on trips. In his younger years he enjoyed being an usher at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church. One of the things he was most proud of in life was when he was able to step up as a family man and be an amazing step-father, as his girlfriend Cheyenne, and the kids Samson and Adora were his world. His warm smile and kind spirit will be treasured by all who loved him.
He is survived by his parents Juan Manuel and Maria Cruz Beltran of Colorado City, his Girlfriend Cheyenne Martin and her children Samson Dougherty and Adora Martin of San Angelo, by paternal grandmother Maria Beltran of Colorado City, maternal grandmother Epifania Garza of Colorado City, by brothers Juan Beltran Jr and wife Katey of Abilene, Chris Beltran and wife Brittany of Snyder, and Zeke Beltran of Colorado City, a sister Danielle Beltran and boyfriend Eddy Mendoza of Colorado City. He is also survived by nieces Connleigh and Leilani with 2 more nephews on the way, as well as by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Manuel Beltran and Henrique Garza.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 11th at 10 with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating.
