

Ola B. Swann, age 99, of Colorado City passed away on December 13, 2015 at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, December 18th at the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Ola B. Swann was born November 5, 1916 in Nolan County to Roy and Iva Giesler. She graduated from Divide High School in 1934. She married Hunter Swann of Nolan County June 6, 1936. She retired from the surgical department at Root Memorial Hospital in 1989 after 26 years. She was a member of the Austin and 22nd Street Church of Christ. She was a good cook, a good seamstress, a good neighbor, a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family, and they loved her.
Ola was preceded in death by her husband Hunter, daughter Kay, granddaughter Marilyn, and great grandson Jeremiah.
She is survived by one sister, Doris Mahaffey of Yakima, Washington, daughter Joan Love and husband Jimmy of Baytown, Texas, son Gary Swann of Colorado City, Texas. Grandchildren: Gary Maples and wife Pam, Linda Knox, Coalen Swann and wife Lisa, Jim Love, Sharon Roper, Ellen Ward, Kristie Hart,
and Nikol Bolin. Great Grandchildren: Joey Maples, Kasi Jones, Christina Austin and husband Matt, Cody Love and wife Amanda, Michael Neel, Laura Ward,
Cade Swann, Lee Ward, Natalie Knox, Camryn Knox, Hudson Swann, and Michael Swann. Great -Great Grandchildren: Court, Jasper, Kiptyn, Layla, and Teddy.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17th from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
