

She was born in Big Spring, Texas on November 5, 1932, to the late John L. and Daisy Henry.
She graduated from Colorado City High School in 1950 and was married to Alvin Raschke February 17, 1953, in Colorado City. Together they raised a son and two daughters.
Peggy took classes at the University of Texas and worked full-time while Alvin completed his degree in Petroleum Engineering. He could not have done it without Peggy’s devoted assistance and support. The family lived several places across Texas before settling in San Angelo in 1973. Peggy worked as a bookkeeper for West Office Supply in San Angelo before retiring in 1989. The couple moved into their dream home at Lake Buchanan in 1991. Peggy was a dedicated member of the San Angelo chapter of Beta Sigma Phi service, cultural and social organization. Peggy was an avid reader, a wonderful cook, and exceptional seamstress, but her passion was always focused on her family. Peggy deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and took immense pride in watching them grow up.
Peggy is survived by her son Robert Raschke and wife Reva of Iola, Texas, her eldest daughter, Elaine Rogers and husband Charles Mazoch, of Houston, and her youngest daughter, Debora Forrest of San Angelo. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sabra Spitzer and husband Robert, Kenneth Forrest III and wife Samantha, Amanda Moore and husband Thomas, Travis Rogers and wife Lisa. Peggy is also survived by her great-grandchildren Stormi Spitzer, Howie Spitzer, Caroline Moore, Clara Moore, Elix Clifton, and Elim Forrest. Also surviving are her brother John Hollis Henry of San Angelo, and many nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, a son, James Thomas Raschke, and her brother, Eldon Henry.
Visitation will be at noon at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home chapel, followed by a graveside service on Friday, November 17th at 2:00 pm in the Colorado City Cemetery with Father Michael Udegbunam of St. Ann’s Catholic Church officiating.
A reception for the family will immediately follow the service at a family member’s home.
