Mrs. Petra Davila Guerrero

Colorado City- Mrs. Petra Guerrero, age 61, died on Monday, June 28, 2010 in Lubbock, Texas. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 1 and Friday, July 2 from 6-8 p.m. and Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m.Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Michael Udgebunam officiating and burial to follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery.

Mrs. Guerrero was born on October 19, 1948 in Roscoe, Texas to Esequiel and Cecilia Flores Davila

She was a longtime resident of Colorado City and a homemaker. Mrs. Guerrero married Lupe Guerrero on January 8, 1971 in Colorado City.

She leaves behind her husband, Lupe Guerrero of Colorado City; daughter, Irma Salazar and husband, Paul, Jr. of Colorado City; granddaughter, Adrianna Munoz of Colorado City and grandsons, Alexander Salazar, Jeremiah Salazar and Felix Munoz all of Colorado City; sister, Esther Flores of Colorado City and brother, Willie Davila and wife, Margie of Colorado City. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Norma Salazar; 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.
