Ricky Lee Upham

Ricky Lee Upham went to be with the Lord December 18, 2023 at the age of 72. He was born in Graham, Texas in 1951. Ricky was a member of the United States Navy - E4 rank and served during the Vietnam era. He worked for Patterson Drilling upwards of 30 years. If you knew him, you knew he loved the oilfields of West Texas. He made his home in Colorado City with his surviving wife, Emily of 43 years. He will be laid to rest at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas on January 18, 2024 at 3pm with full honors.

He is survived by his children: Ricky Upham Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee; Steven Rosas and wife Kayla from Waco, Texas; Pete Rosas of Lubbock, Texas; Katrina Upham of Richardson, Texas; Christine Kraft and her husband John of Abilene, Texas; Steven Upham of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his grandchildren by family: Julian & Logan; Alicia, Paul & Tori; and Izak, Lacey, Ian & Arin. He is also survived by his sister, Marquetta Morris of Portland, Oregon - her sons, Darren, Tim and Steven, also niece & nephew, Nicole English and Chad Lacey. Ricky was proceeded in death by his sister, Monique Lacey; his mother, Juanita L Ring, and father Jess B Upham. He will be deeply missed.
