Sarah Nell Tomlinson

Mrs. Sarah Tomlinson, age 72 of Colorado City, died Tuesday morning in a local hospital. Services will be at 2 PM Thursday, March 19, 2015, in the First Baptist Church in Robert Lee with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Robert Lee Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tomlinson was born December 4, 1942 in Coke County to Sherwin LaFoy and Estelle McGallion Askins. She had been a resident of Mitchell County since 2006. She married Milton Tomlinson on March 18, 1961 in Robert Lee. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Robert Lee.

She is survived by her husband, Milton Tomlinson of Colorado City, her father, LaFoy Askins of Robert Lee; a daughter, Tracie and husband, Jimmy Funderburg of Colorado City and their daughter, Milina Funderburg of Lubbock; a son, Kelly and wife, Kim Tomlinson of Sulphur Springs, their son Kaden Tomlinson of Sulphur Springsand and their daughter, Kara and husband, Camron Gentry of Sulphur Springs; two sisters: Rhonda Askins of Robert Lee and Debbie Carper of Perryton; a brother, Charles Askins of Sulphur Springs.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Estelle Askins.

The family will receive friend 5-7 PM Wednesday at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home
