Teresa Valdez Lopez

She was born on March 23 1943 in Three Rivers Texas the daughter of Maximo and Emeteria Mireles Valdez.

Teresa was a stay at home mom for the majority of her life and she took that job extremely seriously. She was a very caring and giving woman with a huge heart. Her motto was that if she had it and you needed it, it was yours. In her spare time she enjoyed walking and doing things artistic in nature such as painting or coloring, taking time to admire all the beautiful shades and colors on earth.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 38 years Sippy Lopez, by a daughter Diana Garcia and her husband Arthur of Colorado City and by her grandchildren Jordan Leija, Regal Silva, and Isaac Silva, as well as by her many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service for Teresa will be held at 2pm on Monday, March 14th at the Primera Iglesia Bautista El Calvario with the Rev. Felix Siva officiating with a burial to follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery. Friends may come to visit at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home on Sunday, March 13th from 3-5pm at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
