

He was a great athlete, playing racquetball and tennis well into his 70s, watching classic old movies, politics and sports on TV, especially those teams associated with his beloved Philadelphia. Albert was a natural easy-going salesman who garnered the respect and friendship of his many customers over the years from traveling on the road, owning a clothing store and buying text books from university professors.
Albert is survived by his daughter, Hilary Zeltner (David — predeceased) of New York, and son, Jeffrey Silver (Linda) of Columbia, South Carolina; grandchildren, Marissa, Keenan, Zoe and Edward, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rose "Ronnie" Silver; sisters, Evelyn Sackoff and Ruth "Cissie " Abrohms.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Dunbar Funeral Home Devine Street Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made in honor of Albert to American Heart Association.
