COLUMBIA - Memorial service for Ann Kemp Gregg, 76, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, with burial in the Church Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Mrs. Gregg died Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Born in Denmark, S.C., she was a daughter of the late William James Kemp and Dorothy Hutto Kemp. She graduated from Columbia College and the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Gregg retired as a teacher. She was an active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church where she served on numerous committees. Surviving are her husband, Walt Gregg, Jr.; sons, Walter Watt Gregg, III (Susan Denton) of Winchester, Va., William James Gregg (Staci Fuller) of Chapin; grandchildren, Meredith, Parker, Kemp, Brady, Elise and Rivers Gregg. She was predeceased by a brother, James Richard Kemp. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 2827 Wheat Street, Columbia, SC 29205.
