

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Anna Lee Alexander, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2022 at Columbia Free Will Baptist Church, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Born in Greenup, Kentucky, she was the eldest daughter of the late Roy Snoddy and Pearl Pruitt Snoddy. She attended community college and taught school in a one-room schoolhouse. From deep in the mountains of Kentucky, she ventured out to attend Free Will Baptist Bible College where she met the love of her life. Anna was a devoted pastor’s wife and longtime member of Columbia Original Free Will Baptist Church. She worked at Tapp’s at Woodhill Mall and was an Avon District Manager for many years. Anna later worked in sales at Whit-Ash Furniture until she retired. On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, the Lord and Savior she loved delivered her from a worn-out body and severe dementia.
Surviving are her daughter, Martha Jane Drake (Paul); son, Kenneth Leroy Alexander (Lisa); grandchildren, Kenneth Charles Alexander, Kimberly Alexander Herchek (Ryan), Kyle Christopher Alexander, Brittany Leanne Drake Moss (Jeff), BethanyCarol (La’Mar) and Martha Diane Drake Chu (Anthony); great-grandchildren, Christian, Rylee, Hudson, Saralynn, Tegan, Drake, William, Chloe, Hadley, and Baby Chu; former daughter-in-law, Laura Alexander; sister, Ricca Jane Felty; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, The Reverend Carroll G. Alexander, and her sister, Carolyn Sue Little.
