COLUMBIA Anna E. (Nancy) Bailey passed away on the 12th of September 2014 after a long battle with dementia. She was born in New Rochelle, NY in 1932 to the late Hubert and Anna Lynch. She was a military wife married to the late Robert (Beetle) Bailey for fifty-six years. Anna was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all. She was predeceased by her brother John Lynch, and has two sisters, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Terese Galvin. She has three sons, Robert, Roy and David. There are also eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Sterling House and Pruitt Health for the excellent care and compassion they gave our Mother and family at the end of her fight with dementia. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
