A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday September 17, 2023 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
A Columbia native she was born on July 27, 1954 the daughter of Robert Edward and Edna Stork Dales.
Debbie will be remembered for her giving personality, she truly had a heart of gold. Her kindness extended to everyone she knew. She enjoyed fishing, shrimping and a good glass of wine. Most importantly she adored her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband, John Fletcher Riddle, Jr.; two brothers, Jim Dales and Richard Dales. Survivors include her two daughters, Heather Smith (Shane), Ashley Christine; seven grandchildren, Jason, Kaylee, Isabella, Gabriella, Claire, Peyton, Trinity; two brothers, Fred Dales (Patty) and Robert Dales (Cathy).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Debbie’s honor to the Animal Rescue of your choice.
