Francis Vanbenthuysen Jumper

18 septiembre, 1954 – 25 enero, 2025
Obituario de Francis Vanbenthuysen Jumper
EN EL CUIDADO DE

Dunbar Funeral Home (Devine)

COLUMBIA - Francis VanBenthuysen Jumper, "Van" entered eternal rest Saturday, January 25, 2025, surrounded by his family, after a long and hard-fought battle with many health issues.

He was born September 18, 1954, to Henry Francis Jumper, Jr. and Frances "Cookie" VanBenthuysen (Jumper) Hopkins, who are both deceased. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynne Little Jumper; his son, Ryan VanBenthuysen Jumper; daughter, Heath Covin Jumper; his two grandchildren, William Francis Jumper and Olivia Kate Jumper, who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by siblings, Henry Francis Jumper, III (Donna), Heath Jumper Cartwright (Jim) of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Christopher Lucius Jumper (Laura), Catherine Jumper Render (Phil) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Carl Jumper.

After a long employment with Little Travel Agency, he set out to undertake other interests. Van was a self-made man who took pride in his many ventures. He was a perfectionist by nature and was second to none with making or refurbishing anything he touched, whether an old house, an old item he might have picked up at a garage sale, or even on the side of the road. You were always assured that if he made anything for you, it would be pretty, precise and from the heart. Though known for his honest truthfulness, his sincere heart was always an extension of his love and care for his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses, friends, and those who took care of Van during this challenging time.

Memorials may be made to South Carolina Oncology Associates (SCOA)
