Gerald Ryan Barwick

COLUMBIA - A Celebration of Life for Gerald Ryan Barwick, 43, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Grandview Church, 10981 Garners Ferry Rd, Eastover, SC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the church.

Mr. Barwick died Monday, March 31, 2025. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Frank and Brenda Barwick.

He graduated from Lower Richland High School and Central Carolina College. He worked for Dominion Energy, Wateree Station.

Ryan’s life is a testimony to the goodness of God. He showed love to everyone and would be the first to offer help. He took pride in providing for his family and loved his wife and son dearly. He found joy in being the husband of Bridget and Daddy of Jacob. He enjoyed spending time in the swamp riding four wheelers and hunting.

Surviving are his wife, Bridget Morris Barwick; son, Jacob Wade Barwick; father, Frank G. Barwick; mother, Brenda House Barwick; sister and brother in law, Steven and Lisa Baker; nephews, Joshua Baker (Simone), Andrew Baker, Dalton Baker, Evan Baker; niece, Julia Baker; and loving in-laws.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Woodie & Lila Mae House, Iris House and Mary B. Hill.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all of you for your prayers, presence, love and care that has been shown during this time of bereavement.
