I just stumbled across the obit.  I had no idea Harold has passed away.  Harold and Gloria had a major impact on my life.  I worked for several years  at Moe Levy's.  First in high school and then off and on in college.  Harold lent me $300 my final semester of college so that I could pay my tuition and allowed me to pay it back over several months.  Not sure what I would have done had it not been for their kindness, generosity and confidence in me.   A truly good man!  My thoughts and prayers are with Gloria and her family.

From employer to dear friends (extended family) for over 40 years! Alan was thankful for his conversations on  Sunday phone calls with Harold.  We have such wonderful memories  with the Levy family and special holidays.  It was in Moe Levi's where I met the love of my life.  We are sending our love, hugs and prayers to Gloria and family. I was so sad to hear about Harold.  Harold and Gloria were a staple at our house since my parents, Murray and Marlene Riebman were good friends with them when we were growing up. Time spent at the Lake Murray house, on the boat, getting our one family dog from the same person they got their dog from, picking up my brother from their house when he spent the night with Jerry are just some of the memories I had. Of course getting my first pair of Levis at Moe Levy's and feeling special because Harold was a family friend.

Dear Gloria, 
Mary and I were shocked and dismayed when we read about Harold‘s death in today’s newspaper. Despite the shortened time of our friendship after meeting at the Villa Tronco just a year and a half ago, we will be forever uplifted by yours and his friendship. Harold will be sorely missed by both of us. Please except our condolences and know that we will be grieving his loss as well. 

I was truly privileged to know and work with Mr. Ritt for many years. He was incredibly kind, funny and smart. He taught me how to play the stock market. He taught me how to be gracious and keep my cool whenever possible. He taught me about the value of many things during our time together. But what he valued the most was his family. He never went a day without showing love, support, affection and kindness to his family. And those of us who were fortunate enough to be a part of the family business always felt loved and appreciated by him as well. He was madly in love with Gloria since the day he met her. He truly set the bar for how a husband should love and adore his wife. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was a wonderful man in general. I am eternally grateful for his friendship and his mentorship. Mr. Ritt always met me with a smile, no matter what the circumstance. So today I'll be smiling for him, and missing him.
