CAYCE - A memorial service for James David “Jimmy” Robinson, Jr., 51, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Robinson passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Linda Robertson Harmon and the late James David Robinson, Sr. He attended Irmo High School. Jimmy worked for BellSouth/AT&T as a Communication Specialist for 20 years as well as an office manager for a home security company. He loved animals, going to antique sales, traveling, the mountains, and the beach.
Surviving are his partner, Grandon Wilson; sister, Laura Amick (Curtis Goff); mother, Linda Robertson Harmon (Jessee); grandson, Mason Moore; William Hallman, whom he was raised by; four pets, Bailey, Luna, Rico, and Monte; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Leroy and Phyllis Robertson.
