COLUMBIA - A private graveside service for Janis Beth Padgett Ford, 65, will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Ms. Ford died Friday, July 25, 2014. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Martha Hodge Padgett and the late James Morris Padgett. Ms. Ford was an office manager with MEDCOM for many years and loved her job. She enjoyed filling her weekends with flea markets and yard sales. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. In addition to her mother, surviving are her daughter, Tammi Anderson of Ridgeway; son, Michael Ford of Gaston; grandchildren, Jamie, Taylor, Jordan; sister, Sylvia Jacobs (Duwayne) of Moncks Corner; son-in-law, Tim Anderson of Columbia.
