COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Judy Arlene Riley, 77, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016, at Gantt Street Baptist Church, with burial in Olympia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Riley died Thursday, June 9, 2016. Born on March 23, 1939 in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Albert Halloween Miller and Mary Etta McGrady Miller. She was a member of Gantt Street Baptist Church. Judy will always be remembered for being a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Surviving are her sons, Charles Stansel, Ricky Stansel, and Danny Stansel; daughter, Wanda Hall; brothers, Laverne Freeman, Robert Miller, Jerome Miller, and Ruffie Miller; sisters, Janie Miles, Elsie Key, Kathy Gardner, Elise Lake, and Dolly Benson; twenty-one grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Smith B. Riley; and five brothers, Frank, Albert, Cecil, Jimmy, and Odis.
