Lori Miller Beer

BLYTHEWOOD - Lori Miller Beer, age 60, of Blythewood, SC, passed away at home on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Born December 9, 1962, in Knoxville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Joe C. Miller and Janice R. Miller.

Aside from the Tennessee Volunteers, Lori’s greatest love and accomplishment was her family. She will be remembered for her unwavering support and deeply loving nature. Lori was considered a friend to all. Lovingly referred to as Mrs. Claus during the holiday season, Lori was known for her exquisite Christmas decor & yearly gift of homemade fudge. She was a lover of warm weather, 80’s music, and European travel. Her summer evenings were most enjoyed with her husband watching the Yankees on their back porch. Her ultimate pride came from that of being a mother and a Mimi.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 33 years, Ron Beer; sons, Jason “Brad” Fleenor, Ryan Beer (Emily), and Eric Beer; brothers, Tony Miller (Linda) and Kevin Miller (Suzanne); sister, Darlene Miller; grandchildren, Andrew, Abby, and Lucas; and adored Dachshunds, Vinny and Louie.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2022, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, 3926 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
