COLUMBIA Funeral service for Louise Mitchell Holbrook, 93, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20 at Columbia Evangelical Church, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 19 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Mrs. Holbrook died Friday, January 16, 2015. Born in Laurel, Del., she was a daughter of the late John Mitchell and Emma Louise Bauchamp. She graduated from Beacon Business College and Columbia Bible College (C.I.U.). Mrs. Holbrook was a founding member of Columbia Evangelical Church where she was head of the nursery and a Sunday school teacher. She was also a dedicated employee of Epting Distributors for over 20 years. Surviving are her daughter, Lois Holbrook Propst (Nick); grandchildren, Catrina Pope Plyler (T.J.), Graham Michael Pope, Holbrook Paris Propst; and a great-grandchild, Annabelle Lee Plyler. She was predeceased by her husband, Albion Paris Holbrook, IV. Memorials may be made to Columbia International University.
