

Lucas James Huffstetler, 31, of Aiken, South Carolina, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023. Born in Monroe, North Carolina on March 31, 1992, he was the beloved husband of Anna Beth Huffstetler and adoring father of Drew Huffstetler and second child expected July 2024.
Lucas was a devout Christian and active member of NewSpring Church in Aiken, S.C. He had a heart for serving and always went out of his way to help others. He also enjoyed mission work and devoted time in particular to Operation Christmas Child, where he and Anna Beth met. He enjoyed most being with family and friends. Time spent on the front porch of his parents’ home, as well as visits to Litchfield Beach and Boone, NC, created special memories that will be cherished. Lucas had a love for classic cars and trucks, was a talented salesman, and loved to make people laugh. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A funeral service for Lucas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, with burial to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Thompson Hall from 12:00-1:40 p.m.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Elizabeth Lowrey Huffstetler; son, Lucas Andrews Huffstetler; father, Billy Robin Huffstetler; mother, Jana Rhoads Huffstetler; sisters, Aaren McKeown (Justin), Cara Moffitt (Carroll), Leah Nash (Andrew); sisters-in-law, Collins Reingardt (Chad), Allison Gilbert (Chad); in-laws, Andy and Jan Lowrey and 16 nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandparents, James and Grace Rhoads and Bill and Ann Huffstetler.
