Mrs. Sanders passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Robert Adams and Alice Mozelle Garrick Adams. A graduate of Dreher High School, Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker and later worked for the South Carolina Legislative Council for 30 years until she retired. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, bird watching, and loved her pet dearly.
Surviving are her son, Joe A. Sanders, Jr., sister, Von Broome, and three nephews, Robert Broome, David Broome, and John Broome.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Judge Joe A. Sanders, Atty.
