LAKE WATEREE – Mary Vivian Thompson Dail, 79, died Sunday, November 6, 2016. Born in Charlotte, N.C., she was a daughter of the late George Russell and Mary Bessie Stowe Thompson. She graduated from Dreher High School and attended the University of S.C. Surviving are her sister, Gloria Thompson Howard of Columbia; nephews, Thomas “Chip” Wilson Howard (Jill) of Lake Murray, Michael Brian Howard and his girlfriend, Merida Trask of Columbia; niece, Shannon Howard Pooser of Columbia; grandnephews, Preston Maddox Pooser and Colton Wilson Howard; grandniece, Grayson Elle Pooser. She was predeceased by her husband, John Arthur Dail and a son, John Russell Dail. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 6964 Wateree Road, Great Falls 29055.
