She was born in Walhalla, SC on December 11, 1922 to Dewitt T. and Velma Medlin Eades.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral where she taught Sunday School for 15 years and was a participant in many church activities.
Her love of flowers and gardening was reflected in the self designed displays throughout her yard.
Mrs. Scott was widely known for her kindness and generosity toward all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Wallace of Columbia, a stepson, Harold C. Scott, Jr. of Kyoto, Japan, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Charles Eades, Earnest Eades, Grady Eades, Johnny Eades, William T. Eades, sister, Ruby E. Wood, and husbands, Dr. John Wallace and Harold C. Scott.
A visitation will be held at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, on Tuesday, February 25 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm.
A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Wednesday, February 26 at 11:00 am, conducted by Rev. Jimmy Hartley.
