

A Memorial Mass will be held Noon on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at Transfiguration Catholic Church with burial to follow at Greenlawn Serenity Gardens. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be read at 5:30 pm Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home - Devine Street Chapel with a gathering of family and friends to follow from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Paul was born August 14, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Bernard and Blanche Morin. He served his country proudly in the United States Army stationed in Germany as a Sharpshooter. Paul was a talented carpenter specializing in cabinet building and was always willing to share his talent with family and friends. He was truly a man’s man and lived his life to the fullest on his terms.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sister, Darlene and a son-in-law, Dave Ellis. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Janet Morin; two daughters, Blanche Ellis, Paula Dyches (Timothy); two grandchildren, Jacquelynn Conyers (Daniel), Cade Timothy Dyches; two great-grandchildren, Kourtney Conyers, Edward Conyers; a brother, Joe Morin; two sisters, Charlotte and Mary; four stepchildren, Lawrence Longtine (Amy), Teresa Neese (Raymond), Brenda Logue (Scott) and Becky Padgett (Jimmy); ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Padgett, Stephen Hennessey, Daniel Conyers, Eric Schaufler, Kyle Dailey and Cade Dyches
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Society of St. Vincent de Paul – St. Joseph Church Food Distribution.
