Mr. Bristow retired after serving many years of honorable service as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force in Alaska. He later worked in logistics in the trucking industry.
Mr. Bristow was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling and golf.
Surviving are his loving wife of 45 years, Kathleen S. Bristow of Cayce, SC; son, Chris R. Bristow (Katie) of Newberry, VT; and grandchildren, Alan Bristow and Samantha Bristow.
A Private Graveside Service will be held in Fort Jackson National Cemetery at a later date.
