Born in Fort Riley, Kansas, she was the daughter of Glendon Delano Davisson and Fay Lee Davisson. She loved being a grandmother and spoiling her grandchildren. Ronda also loved her dogs.
Ronda graduated from Richland Northeast High School and attended Midlands Technical College. She worked at CVS, where she became a familiar face to so many that it often felt like being out with a local celebrity because everyone knew her.
Her hobbies included gardening, relaxing in her favorite rocking chair in the rock garden, and listening to the gentle sounds of the ponds while her pups lounged nearby. Ronda loved creating scavenger hunts and fun little games for her grandchildren, and she made a habit of leaving daily surprises in their tiny mailbox. She even secretly left flowers on her neighbors’ porches for special occasions.
Ronda loved spending time with her family, whether it was a bit of shopping or grabbing a bite to eat. At home, she loved to rock in her recliner and watch documentaries or real life stories.
Many would say she had a heart of gold and she was rarely seen without a smile on her face.
Surviving are her son, Jeffrey McDonald (Cara); daughter, Amanda McDonald Wiley (Mitchell); parents, Glendon and Fay Lee Davisson; and grandchildren, Gabriella, Ayanna, Alyssa, Jeffrey Paul, and Logan.
She was predeceased by her brother, Rockie Davisson.
Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Memories may be shared at www.dunbarfunerals.com
