William Yon “Bill” Rast, Jr., 80, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late William Yon Rast, Sr. and Henrietta Gilreath Rast. A graduate of the University of South Carolina Law School, he was a self-employed Defense Attorney.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Rast; sons, Kevin Rast (Lori) and Scott Rast (Julie); grandchildren, Cooper Rast, Hunter Rast, Kylie Rast, and Dylan Rast; and brother, Robert Rast.
A private graveside service will be held in Hebrew Benevolent Society Cemetery.
