Carol Ann Cullinan

Carol Ann Cullinan, 80, of Bradford, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Friday, March 17, 2023. Born on December 19, 1942 in Tewksbury, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy Love (Burke).

Carol grew up in Tewksbury and graduated in 1960 from Tewksbury Memorial High School. In her earlier years, she worked as a secretary at the Hanscom Air Force Base before dedicating her life to her family, raising her children and taking care of the family home. In 1993, Carol and her husband Francis opened up their own bookstore called Books By the Lake, where she continued working at until recently. In her downtime, she loved gardening, attending flower shows with her sister Nancy, enjoying dinner at restaurants, traveling, spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, and of course her beloved books and cats.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Beckett and husband Stu; sons Michael Cullinan and wife Lisa, David Cullinan and wife Connie; sister Nancy Jeanne Sierzego and husband Edward; grandchildren Elizabeth Cullinan, Nicole Cullinan, Meghan Beckett, Daniel Cullinan, Joe Cullinan, Emily Beckett, and Stephen Cullinan. She is predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Francis Joseph Cullinan and brother Lawrence H. Love Jr.

A visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm on Friday, March 24 at Bennett Funeral Home, located at 209 N. Main St, Concord NH, with a service to begin at 6pm.
